"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Sup guys,

I've a bit of a problem. Or a confusing situation at the very least. There's this girl, who I had a bad oneitis for about a year back or so. She had high IL, and showed all the classic signs. Everything looked good up until last new years, but my oneitis got the best of me and I made some bad decisions, so we became friends on a mutual agreement. Which was cool, she is really a fun person to be with even as just friends, and she's also great for attracting other girls when we're out together.

It's been about a half a year now since we agreed to be friends, and my game's been improving a ton. I have a lot more plates, my social circle is a lot wider, I have a great job, and I even improved my clothing and personal appereance further. I've also spent a lot more time with her now, since we're just friends.

Up until now, anyway. I just came back from a rock festival where we were at to celebrate mid summer with a group of about 10 people, me and her included. She shared a tent with a female friend of mine, and I had my own tent, but as the night progressed and she was about to go to sleep, I told her that I'm coming along. She had no complaints, so I did, and about an hour later she was laying on top of me, trying to reach my tonsils with her tongue. We were just about to do the dirty deed, when this god damned female friend of mine burst through the door drunk off her a$$, gave us a drunken description about her latest sexual encounter that had apparently just ended, passed out on the floor and started snoring. So that was a wrap on the evening.

Your take on this? I have plates spinning now so I'm not really looking to go back into the oneitis mode, but still she's a great gal, and if she is to be judged by her actions instead of words, I'd say there's potential here. Is this going anywhere, or should I just keep her in the friendzone?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Don't put a label on it, just continue playing it by ear. Don't expect anything, but don't stand in the way of anything either.

Agreed. Don't get your hopes high on anything. If she's doing things like this, just go along with it until you've got something solid with her. When she's absent, make it like she's not a high priority for you. In other words, let her chase, but keep yourself attractive and just slightly out of her reach.
