Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

The Art of Love by Ovid

The Art of Love playfully instructed women in the art of seduction and men in the skills essential for mastering the art of romantic conquest.

"Should anyone here not know the art of love read this, and learn by reading how to love. By art the boat’s set gliding, with oar and sail, by art the chariot’s swift: love’s ruled by art.", Ovid
The book was described as an "immoral book" representing the art of love as "the adulterer's art rather than the husband's art" by Irish writer H. Montgomery Hyde in A History of Pornography. But the book won the praise of Renaissance humanists.
I plan to acquire it and I will be posting any interesting info.

Btw, who heard of this book?

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

that is nice, but it will be all poetic and art-focused, not content focused. The advice will suffer based on artistic merit. Form over function, i doubt any useful information. Still could be interesting.

Ovid has some ideas, but it's nothing we don't already know, like making cold approaches and dealing with rejection. He goes into detail about getting at married women by seducing or becoming friendly with their personal slaves and maids.

For it's time this was pretty controversial stuff, in the context that the emperor at the time was very family values(sound familar to anyone),anyway Ovid eventually got banished to the sticks were he died alone.
