"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Well it's a little over a month since my ex dumped me (I've decided it is because of her trust issues she has from the past.)

Let me tell you, IT HAS BEEN NOTHING OTHER THAN FAN-FVCKING-TASTIC!

I almost feel guilty how much I've been enjoying single life, especially this fresh out of a relationship. I'm usually the kind of guy who likes being in a relationship, and even actively pursues a "relationship." Since high school I don't think I have a combined year of single life. But goddamn, I'm quickly learning this whole single thing is a good time!

As of this post, I have 6 different plates I am actively spinning, and a handful of orbiters I have no interest in whatsoever. Picking up ATTRACTIVE (...VERY attractive) women has been nothing other than simple, and is incredibly entertaining.

I just wanted to post this for all the guys out there who have recently been dumped, and do not yet see the light at the end of the tunnel. My advice would be to start sprinting down the tunnel until you see it, because it is a glorious sight to behold.

Go NC on your ex, forget about her, go out with your buddies, HAVE A GOOD TIME (don't 'try' to pick up women), and reap the rewards. I haven't been this happy in years. Literally YEARS!

Time to quit moping around wondering what you could have done or said to fix things with her. FORGET OUT ABOUT IT AND HER! IT'S HER LOSS; AND YOU BETTER GODDAMN WELL BELIEVE IT!

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Nope. Girls are simple minded beings that exist on instinct and emotion. A girl would never dump someone she was attracted to, they are mostly too weak to actively get rid of something they think they need. If a girl breaks up with you it is simply because she is not attracted to you anymore. Bottom line.

Sorry son.

Sounds like you are doing very well. I think most guys here put up such an emotional shield around themselves that they would not allow themselves to even be in a position where they might get dumped (protect that heart). A lot of guys are so afraid of getting dumped that they will avoid becoming involved in any sort of relationship with a woman. Being dumped can hurt, a lot, but it is not the end of the world like so many guys portray it here.

It sounds like you have used the emotion and energy from your split to get out there and get back on the horse, so to speak. I think that's important. If you split up and then lose all your forward momentum that's when you can really sink into a depression.

Good mindset. But be aware that there are a lot of guys who can go out and "not try to pick up women" and will go home alone.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

yeah i'd disagree about the part of not trying to pick up women.. every time went through a bad breakup i always ended up going out with a better, hotter girl.. great attitude in feeling better now that it's over but never close down your options!

I agree 110% Bradd. What I meant by "don't try to pick up women," was simply don't be the creepy guy out there just trying to pick up some pvssy. I find I have a ton of success if I'm just out having a good time, and allow women to enjoy that good time/energy with me. It should never feel like you're 'TRYING.'

What I mean to say is: relax, enjoy yourself (this is extremely attractive to women) and if you want to hit on a girl then DO IT! But don't overwhelm yourself with the pressure that you're out to pickup women, it should come naturally.
