Female CEO, big project, everyone is excited. At the end, the thing completely tanks.
No disrespect, but the Ouya was destined to fail simply based on its premise: indie games....anything indie related is doomed to fail simply because the indie market is so varied that it's extremely difficult to focus your product on a hardcore devoted fanboy niche like Xbox and PS4....Could Ouya ever offer something to compete with COD? HALO? Grand Theft Auto? I doubt it. It could have been a male CEO with a MBA from Harvard etc and it still would have FAILED miserably.
What people don't understand is that corporate America is all about as$-kssing, brown nosing, and cronyism. And who thrives in such an environment? BETA MALES....yes, the reason why corporate America is a joke these days is because it's overrun by a bunch of as$-kissing betas thumping their chests trying to act like alphas.
And since betas couldn't even change a flat tire, they're idiocy has opened the door for all the strongheaded/b!tchy females to infiltrate. Not surprisingly, a b!tchy female exudes more alpha qualities than a BETA MALE so in that sense corporate females are actually becoming more effective leaders.
As far as innovation, well, alpha males dominate innovation. Sadly the innovative guys are usually stuck in middle management.
