I think the mods are chosen by who has the least in social things such as:

1. a life
2. ability to actually go out and meet NEW women, not old ones or girlfriends or wives.
3. Intelligence (yeah I'm applying it to social skills too)
4. Maturity. Look at the common age 18-25.
5. Good looks. No wonder they are afraid to show their faces!
6. I think Halter Skizzo said most of the other qualities.

I would think the last person who should be a Mod is a person who has a million ideas on how to make the site better, who has a long list of people they want to ban and those who generally WANT BADLY to be a Mod to begin with.
