"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So to sum up my life in 2018 - I broke up with my ex mid Jan - went on a rampage of dating and OLD. Caught chlamydia twice, drank waaay too much and spent way too much on nights out with nothing to show for it.

I've decided to go on a mini-break... not quite monk mode, if anyone reaches out I will try to bang but I am not making it a focus now. No more OLD swiping and no going out after work drinking. I will go out to events and places with friends but no more 2 day benders.

It's been 10 days since my last date/sex and I don't miss it, I just want to be a better more focused person. I also have just over 2 months to make £40,000 for my company to get a 10% pay rise which I'll be using to leverage a better salary in a new firm as soon as they give it to me. Basically I feel like I have to grow up and work hard because 2018 thus far as been a total joke - mainly due to women, drugs and alcohol.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
