I posted last week about how I was on a drought... woman wise; and it's taught me a BIG lesson when it comes to anything in life...
MINDSET IS ALL.
I've struggled to get back into form since splitting with my LTR and its took longer than I thought to start getting back on form, i still aint there yet, its the biggest break i've had from gaming ever! back when I was in college I was talking to women every day, that isn't part of my life now, due to how busy I am with work and the profession i'm in.
I was convinced I was on a drought myself and my actions etc reflected that also.
However..
I went out with my buddies Saturday and a solid 7 started dancing on me, grinding and I wasn't really making a move on her, which is the main thing lacking in being a DJ, i do great and just completely miss clear signs of interest when i'm gaming someone... Closing is my main issue, but I know that will come in time.
I ended up making out with her eventually, my mentality changed when i did and since then i've naturally been getting a lot more interest!
it's the main problem i see guys having here, there mentality is that of someone stuck in a rejection cycle, change that and your on to a winner!
You know, i've been out a while and me not being back in the swing of things for 6-8 months is like ring rust to a boxer, it will come back, it is coming back, and persistence in trying to get where i'm going will pay off.
The game has changed massively these past two years in my area/ age group and i'm beginning to adapt to that!
Thats the problem with rules, and why MINDSET is key.
