"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Hey,

Working on a milf in my class at school. She's a really cool chick and a good mom. But I think I got into the friend zone. I was dating someone when we first met so we became friends kinda and hung out mostly with a mutual friend. But since I'm free now, I started spending more one on one time. She has commented that I get along with her kid well and that he likes me and she wants me to move in with her to save rent next year and often tells me I can stay over if I'm too tipsy or tired to drive home. Which I haven't yet just cuz I never really had to and wasn't quite sure how to take it.

So I guess I'm just wondering if you guys have any ideas or advice. I'm 23 and she's like 10 years older.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Haha, just read a thread that answers your question.

Go to her house to "watch a movie", cuddle a bit, start kissing, and see where it goes. And make it a grown-up movie, under NO circumstance rent a Disney movie, that'll keep the kid up all freaking night, if he is there.

Do it right, and if she isn't down with it, **** it, move on, you have enough friends.

There is no such thing as the "friends zone". There is almost always a way out of it. Sounds more like she wants you to be her sons new dad and is willing to take care of you in the process. I'd say put the moves and make your intentions known about where you want this to go. Don't be so straight forward about it and keep the game playing to a minimum. What I mean by this is to apply the DJ rules but keep the mind games out of it. Don't tolerate any BS from her if she plays any herself. Plan some alone time between the two of you, keep things spontaneous and fun, make her feel like a queen and just don't go AFC. However I wouldn't recommend for you to put all your eggs in one basket. Pursue other women for the time being until you become exclusive with her if that turns out to be the case.

There's a chance you two could live happily ever after, but most likely no. She is ten years older and has a child; that means she is working on settling down into that steady rhythm of work, going home, work, going home, that you follow until you retire and then die. There is nothing wrong with that, it is what keeps a society afloat. However, you are not there yet, are you? You are only 23, which means you have many years left of dating girls. If you move in with this woman, you will miss all that, and you'll come to miss it more the longer you stay.

She should find a man in her age, someone who is ready to settle down with her. And you, you should keep dating women, meeting friends, and growing through your experiences while you make a life for yourself.

Btw, to answer your question: don't worry, if you'd move in with her you would most definitely get into her pants and you'd become an item. She wants a father for her kid, right? And she has already said you can stay at her place when you need to - she wouldn't say that if she didn't want you to have sex with her and then move in.

And another thing: whenever you have sex with a milf, always wear a condom. It does not matter if she says she is on the pill. Women over thirty often use pregnancy to snare a guy; the world is full of men who didn't believe that and are sorry they didn't.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

She told you that you can stay over if you are tipsy??

Bust over full of booze and just start playing around with her, joking etc.. then go through her underware draw when she is making coffee or in the bathroom.

Keep your distance. It's ok if you want to pursue, but don't even think about moving in. The "save on the rent" excuse is the most played out, lamest excuse for two people to live together. Trust me.

Do this: Get drunk, take up her offer to stay at her place and see what happens. If you get laid, great, but never ever move in with this one!

Mag, what the f*ck are you doing? You obviously didn't read "13 Reasons To Avoid Single Mothers,"http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=97081

This chick is like the "scary house," in the horror movie. YOU NEED TO GET OUT NOW!!! She wants you to move in, split the bills, and play daddy to her kid? Are you out of your f*cking mind?

Dude this is a bad situation and it can only get worse. If you start supporting this kid and you break up with her, she depending on the laws of your state, SHE CAN GO TO FAMILY COURT AND MAKE YOU PAY CHILD SUPPORT FOR A KID THAT ISN'T EVEN YOURS!!!! Washington State is one of those places.

Mag it isn't your place to step in and clean up this b*tche's mess. This is one of the reasons why Leykis says not to mess with single mothers. Your only 23 yrs old. Your suppose to be in college, graduate school, or starting your career. Your suppose to spend your weekends trolling for a$$, buying rims, and planning to spend next spring break in Cabo.

Dude if you get involved with this b*tch, all of a sudden your goals and dreams go on the back burner because you have to get a full time job so "she can save on rent next yr."

This is an bad situation and will only expotentially get worse. This b*tch doesn't want you, she wants your money and wants your to "play "daddy," DON'T DO IT!!! And never again in life give a chick with kids the time of day.

belaire, shut up. you are wrong, he is not.

avoiding single mothers is by far one of the best ideas you can have. there are exceptions, but the rule is to avoid them normally. Kids have a way of messing everything up in a relationship. he does know what he is talking about.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
