Last week I was at a movie theatre next to a couple in a bar before the show. As is typical in Texas, the man was trying to use his body to obstruct my view of his date, but I caught a glimpse of her eye contact when he brushed his long hair back. I could tell that she didn't appreciate his antisocial behavior (don't be that guy).
Anyhow, when I got up to leave she made eye contact again so I said "Excuse me, but I know I've seen you someplace before" and she said "Have you been here before?" and I said "No, this is my first time here."
Then she said "Have you seen the movie Mud?" and I replied "Yes, that is one of my favorite movies..."
"I was in that movie." she said "I was the girl who broke the little boy's heart."
You will have moments in life when time stands still, and this was one of them for me. I said "I do remember you from that movie and I thought you were incredibly beautiful." Not only did I remember her, I had paused the movie (in a 46" Blu Ray screenshot of her butt) and looked her up on IMDB the first time I saw her. If you've seen the movie you know the exact frame I'm talking about.
Note that her date, who had previously rotated himself 90 degrees at the bar to put his back to me, had now rotated 90 degrees back to face the bar, keeping his back to me. Still, I said "This guy is doing something right!" and patted him on the back. He offered an underarm handshake without making eye contact (don't be that guy).
I asked her name and told me as she extended her hand. This woman was Bonnie Sturdivant. This girl was genuinely sweet, and a knockout.
I got out of there quick, but it was great to see that actual movie stars are not much different than the beauties we've seen before. More importantly, know that genuinely pretty girls are usually very friendly, even if you approach them.
