"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

According to studies and data by a professor of behaviour science in London, “if you’re a man, you should probably get MARRIED, if you’re a woman, don’t bother.”

Is the studies and empirical data by the University professor in London wrong? Do sosuave members know better?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Most studies are "wrong," in that they can be rigged to say whatever you want them to say. Goal seeked.

Nobody has any clue how to define happiness, let alone measure it in an academic study in any way that can lead to meaningful conclusions.

Just another signaling lefty prof looking for grant money. He's just telling academia what they want to hear.

Men bad, women good.

Men need women, women no need men.

Yeah but if she can leave and divorce anytime after then what does marriage mean?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Being happily married may have advantages to being single but how many truly happily married men do you know? For everyone else being single is much better than a toxic marriage.

More propaganda from academia. Some chump with letters after his name being touted as another expert.

With all these experts we should be rolling in happiness by now.

So signing up for losing 50% of everything should be a man's goal? What real difference is there between being with a woman long term exclusively and living together versus being married?

Men bad, women good.

Men need women, women no need men.
If it said:

“Studies show women desperately want to be virgins before they are married and want to be tied to one man for the rest of their lives, while men are too rock and roll to be tied down.”

Would it be rigged too?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

No. It would be a lie.

Most of the article is about the benefits of being single for people in general rather just women and so it is hardly pro marriage for either.
“Married people are happier than other population subgroups, but only when their spouse is in the room when they’re asked how happy they are,” he said. “When the spouse is not present: f***ing miserable.”

His argument for men getting married is also rather weird. Supposedly, it involves LESS risk:
Men benefited from marriage because they “calmed down”, he said. “You take less risks, you earn more money at work, and you live a little longer. She, on the other hand, has to put up with that, and dies sooner than if she never married. The healthiest and happiest population subgroup are women who never married or had children,” he said.

However, Dolan said men showed more health benefits from tying the knot, as they took fewer risks.
