i know that underneath the names of the users, it has the "don juan" or "master don juan" that only goes by the amount of posts that member has made

how about a quick profile like this:

Looks rating: 5-7
Status: rAFC
F-closes: 0
Kiss Closes: 0
Number closes: 0
Approaches: 10
Relationship status: LTR 3 years, rocky/soap opera

or something like that. this would NOT be to establish a "rank", but as a way of measuring your progress and having others see what point you are in the game. this should also prevent WBAFCs starting shyt - or people will know when to take a members advice with a grain of salt.

and for those of you who happen to have beef with another member who is an experienced dj or pua, well... just ignore the posts instead of arguing with them every single time (i've noticed this a lot with player_supreme... i don't agree with a lot of what he says, but i'm sure there's at least ONE thing i can learn from his experience

Some of us don't really count our #closes and stuff...

having an open category like

status:rAFC

might be a nice idea... People can lie of course, but if your truly a AFC you wouldn't put DJ because you want to learn. The only problem would be Keyboard Jockeys who put fake things up. This might actually be a simple solution to tide us through for the moment.

I like.

Though I don't know if the software would allow that. i know others do but I belive they are running an older version...

well, if not a NUMBER of closes, at least an estimated percentage rate

for example (not me)

kisscloses:65%
f-closes:15% (which isn't that bad)

of course these would be approximations.

and i think we'd be able to identify keyboard jockeys by the contents of their posts.
i'm honest to a fault, so people would believe me if i say i'm an rAFC. when i get to DJ/PUA status, my posts will reflect it, but for anyone new to the board, they will know if they can ask me for help and if my advice is sound...

see soundness of advice doesn't work here though. A lot of people who come here grab onto whatever tidbit they can find. True or Not... if you told every AFC that came to this site that woment are alien she-devils from planet-X about 15% would believe you at LEAST...

So a keyboard Jockey thats posting decent stuff. Stuff that might ring to a AFC as 'could be true' even though we know it isn't can be very harming. Then they leave this site even more damaged...

damn i hate to say this, but

how about turning the 'popularity' vote on? problem is if someone has beef with another poster, even their good ideas suffer...

if only people could get rated by the quality of thier posts - we all do it personally, but new people (such as myself) would benefit from immediately going to the most respected posters...

i don't know... maybe it's to hard to implement this.
