meetup.com is it useful?

Just about the only online community that i see where people are actively trying to find others who enjoy the same passions or at least have similar likes is meetup.com

i was watching some day game videos and one of the coach's was saying if you need new friends and your circle is to small then join an online community and meet others that like to do the same things you do.

Anybody try meetup.com?

i was thinking about going to a bar crawl meetup at the very least meet some new people doesn't matter if they're male or female. just looking for some new friends maybe if i expand my social circle a bit i can potentially meet new women.

Yes , meetup is good , even when you go to bar in meetup there are poeple who you can talk with them. Beside that it is fun ( and a lot of women usually ). meetup only work in big cities bty

Meetup groups are like small communities. As the "new guy" you'll have to work your way up to the attractive chicks just as in any other hierarchy. Meetup groups have "alpha males," "betas," sluts and popular girls just like very single other human community.
