"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I've read a few posts where people suggested against it, but decided to see what kind of advice I could get.

I did do a quick search, but didn't find exactly the results I was looking for..hopefully I won't get flamed..

Anyways, I recently got a myspace account. What I'm wondering, is, after I see a girl that I might be interested in, how would I go about talking to her?

I have tried a few diffrent 'approaches'. One, was that I stated that I thought I knew the girl from somewhere, or that she looked famialiar, and tried to have a conversation from there..hopeing that with a few more posts I can have a quick chat on AIM and get a phone number. This sort of worked...but typically the conversation died after a few replies back and fourth..

Another, was that I messaged a girl saying "you look like you'd make a nice friend
IM me sometime (my screen name)"

This girl never got back to me..I was expecting she would more be like 'hey..i wonder why this guy isnt telling me im hot and asking for my number..why would he just want a friend?'

I know that talking online is diffrent, because you don't have any kind of tone in your voice or facial expressions..but I'm just looking for what to say that would make an interesting starter conversation (online), that could lead to getting a number.

I do talk to girls in person, the internet is not my way of getting girls..i just figured if i could meet more girls that live near by..why not.

Any advice and/or examples would be great.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

search for "online" "personals" "match.com" or somethin like that here.

Also have you really used up all your resources locally? Cold approach more women man. things move too slow over the internet, people arent readily availiable and you dont even know who you are talking to or how she looks IRL

thanks for the reply

I haven't really..i should probably go out to the mall and places like that, which I do plan on doing. My problem is that I don't really have too many friends outside of school (and im graduating in 17 days..)..so anywhere I'd go, i'd be alone...

I just really finished reading double your dating, and am trying to change my life for the better. My story is that i recently broke up with my gf of a year and a half, and am trying to get out on my own and have some fun and meet some people (more specifically, girls).

coo. Nice to know that you are turning things around. Maybe the bootcamp is a good idea for you?

ANyways as for the internet thing, most people I see do it because they are scared sh!tless of cold aproaching, and so they get great at talkin to girls on the net, but they get face to face and because they havent been talking to girls other than in front of a computer screen they fumble the pvssy.

As for going out solo, most people do. Its like:
-when you start off you dont want people to see you do it
-when you get better your friends can hold you back

I go solo all the time, im still at stage 1 of it for the most part, but heck, just approaching chicks outdoes my friends unless they are sh!tfaced. Just hit the field as much as you can, talk to everyone. I have a job in retail and it could change my life. I am forced to talk to people if i want to make money and it really motivates me.
