Since I've stepped my dating life in the past several months I've encountered mature, stable career women who seem to get sucked in by scams. 3 so far. Once was selling MonaVie, another One24, now my date tonight tells me about this great thing shes doing called Visalus.

I'm disappointed whenever I learn someone is involved in a pyramid scheme because they always hint around for me to look into it.

Now I have a date tonight that I was really looking forward to, but she's probably going to bring up this exciting new opportunity she's into - and she's a friggin accountant and makes good money, and is skinny, so why get on board with some weight loss scam?

Kinda dampered it a bit. Not sure what to do if she starts talking about it. Don't want to encourage more by being polite and just listening. What should I do, change the subject??

"what is this a sales pitch or a date?"
"I'll take 20! [change topic]"
"Are you trying to tell me I look fat?" (if she's droning on about weight loss products)
"Do you do those sex toy parties too?" - good option to reframe the drone into sexuality.
Start selling her a bridge you just happen to have for sale.
If its a drink, ask her if it contains soylent green

Hope this gives you some ideas.

Haha, repped dude, that is golden. Reminds me to be thinking in constant reframe mode in any sub par situation.

my mother is in Amway and is semi retired because of it. if push came to shove i am pretty sure she could quit working though she could not live her current lifestyle. my mom travels more than anyone i have ever seen today.

but she's been at that since i was in elementary school.
