"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I have an assignment due tomorrow, and I'm struggling with it. Our assignment is to derive the the distance formula.
Find the distance from ax + by + c = 0 to point (x, y).

The answer: d = (ax + by + c ) ÷ SquareRoot(a^2 + b^2)

I need to show the teacher how I came to that answer. Please help.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I need it in terms of x, and y.

x = ( (b^2)(x) - (a)(b)(y) - (a)(c) ) ÷ (a^2 + b^2)

y = ?

derivative of something = dy/dx

keep that in mind...it should help you. Move the terms you need to one side and derive the rest.

In other news, I am happy I get Lincoln's Bday off tomorrow.:cheer:

The derivation is incredibly long for something so goddamn simple. Go google it, I'll bet there's someplace that tells you exactly what you need.

dy/dx of ax + by + c = 0 is

a + b*dy/dx = 0
dy/dx = -(a/b)

?!

integration
derivative is something else i thought
what the **** are you people talking about.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Just when I thought everyone on this site was retarded in school. I hate Calculus. Integration and derivation are pretty easy by themselves, but the books always give you stupid problems that make you do way too much thinking.

Thanks for hearing out my pissed off rant for the day everybody.
