"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

So I was at this little festivle thing last night. (My mom actually let me go out, but once I got home she grounded me >:F) but anyway.. I was there and I was with my two friends. They are kind of more popular than me, got good. Good looking blah blah. I was well dressed, my face is average I guess. And my hair is pretty long.. which some girls don't like.. mostly the ones we always approach (the gorgeous preppy ones) ahaha. So I was tired of basically being ignored by these 8-9s, so I started to go over to the music section. Where I would feel more at home, it's where like the cute punk rock girls hang out, or anyone else really into music. I noticed a girl from my school, who kept looking at me. She is probably like a 7.5 her face could be better, but she has a nice body.. anyway, she was eyeing me the whole night. And what of the times we held it for like atleast 2-3 seconds. I was going to approach her, but I couldn't think of anything. PLus, it was pretty loud, and the only way to hear someone is to get close and yell it into their ear.. But anyway, I know where she hangs at lunch kinda, do you think I should talk to her. Or did I already come off as AFC from not approaching her at the festivile? I just don't know what to say. I was thinking something like "Hey, I saw you at the festivle this weekend. Why were you staring at my butt so much?" or idk. i feel like my game is slipping away pfft

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
