Wow, what a world we live in. Hopefully the law would be changed and he won't have to pay a dime, or what ever comparable coin you use across the pond.

I find how it is funny that it is called maintenance over there, here in the US it's called child support.

Wow you guys just found out that feminism is worse in the UK? They've passed laws allowing lesbian couples to raise a kid legally and be called mothers. The sperm doner "father" doesn't even get to see the kid. I also think they passed law that allows women to freely put their child up for adoption without the father's consent. Anyhow it's messed up, I would stay away from there. Except maybe vacations cuz some UK chicks are HOT. :up:

Sounds to me he donated, as per that article, to have children he could visit. He wasn't able to have children with his wife due to financial implications..

It only makes sense that he supports his children if he is going to visit them and see them grow.

yes, because he wants to be called daddy and be thought of as daddy.
however, if he were to be a silent never heard from again donor, then the story would be much different. he would not have any personal relationship with the child or financial obligations to the child.

if he and his wife could not have a baby for financial reasons, why would he want to have a child to pay child support to?

They thought they could go around this financial thing. It back fired. Now they have to pay child support to his own child. That's why it's funny. But hey, he saved at least 50%. :crackup:
