I find how it is funny that it is called maintenance over there, here in the US it's called child support.

Wow you guys just found out that feminism is worse in the UK? They've passed laws allowing lesbian couples to raise a kid legally and be called mothers. The sperm doner "father" doesn't even get to see the kid. I also think they passed law that allows women to freely put their child up for adoption without the father's consent. Anyhow it's messed up, I would stay away from there. Except maybe vacations cuz some UK chicks are HOT.

Sounds to me he donated, as per that article, to have children he could visit. He wasn't able to have children with his wife due to financial implications..

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
