Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

*Shakes head* Haha, f*cking pathetic, I know.STR8UP said:I check out the pages of some of the women I know and it's almost comical the way they solicit attention.
I used to have 2 chics on my MySpace who did the same exact sh*t..it used to drive me up the f*cking wall, I tell ya. Like I really give a flying f*ck if you posted new pics. I had such a strong urge to tell them to shut the f*ck up and how they're not all that AT ALL(hence what 2 ugly b*tches I really think they are), but held my tongue. How much more pathetic can a woman get that she has to ask someone to leave them comments? That is downright lame as in lame. That's probably worse than more than 3/4 of all AFC acts. And women think what men do is pathetic, hah.STR8UP said:One of the 21 yr olds I know sends out a bulletin every time she updates her pictures to try to get people to leave picture comments. She even practically begged me one time to leave some picture comments.
Now that's an ignorant statement. Say's who? Quit letting the world around you dictate what needs to be done and what doesn't. Any guy who is still pulling tail in his 50's deserves a thumbs up. It is sad to see when a guy in his 50's ISN'T pulling tail.Nefty said:To still be "chasing tail" and using PUA techniques at age 50 is a sure-fire way of eventually being alone at 70. Sorry, but that's just sad.
In one's 50s, one should be settled down and enjoying family life.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Ahh, the lonley old man myth rears it's ugly head again. Yet another feminine social convention.Nefty said:To still be "chasing tail" and using PUA techniques at age 50 is a sure-fire way of eventually being alone at 70. Sorry, but that's just sad.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
And another ignorant statement. Where is it written that a guy(or woman)in his 50's can't dress a certain way, or buy sports cars or Harleys? You might as well say the same about women too according to your argument then. There's pleeeenty of older women in their 40's and 50's doing the same. Don't be influenced by societal expectations. If there's anything "pathetic", being influenced by a bunch of mindless societal expectations, is pathetic. Use your own friggin' head, and do what YOU want. Get out of the f*cking matrix already.Nefty said:it's like these older men you see having a mid-life crisis, buying Harleys and sports cars and trying to dress like college kids......they're trying to turn back the clock, but it just doesn't 'fit'.
 Yes!! Rightful leadership!jophil28 said:" If we get together, I intend to assert my rightful leadership, and I will drop you if you do not like it. Perhaps with firmness and guidance you can be saved. "!
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
