"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Okay, well about a month ago I broke up with this one chick who recently started talking to me A LOT again. So last weekend I decided to invite her to hang out with me on a weekend night. She said she arleady had plans and that was the end of that. Then yesterday I told her that my roomate from college (IU 2010 baby! ha) is coming to visit me this upcoming weekend and she said she wanted to hang and meet him. Now that made me think...maybe she does want me again...I'm also going to look at her prom dress tommorow so my tuxedo will match her dress ( were goign to prom togehter still). So I told her I'd take her home from school and then look at the dress. Now we will be at her house at about 3;30...my appointment for my tux isn't until 5 so taht gives me an hour and a half to hang around...Now how do I ask her if she wants to hang w/o sounding desperate?

Also, tonight -- thinking that she was interested in me again, I IMed her on AIM...Now we just started talking and I brought up that I"m always the life of the party and that she never has fun w/o me...and it turned into this playful argument....i was arguiing with like recent fun memories we had together (now I did this thinking it was a good thing...is this true)? She just laughed and played along and then when she had to go was like we'll finsih this argument tommorow...Now what do I do and/or what should I be expecting/pushing for with her?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I always stress treating an ex just like any other girl. Don't act any different than you would with some girl you just met last week.
