I never really realized how bad the competition was.

For the profile, I filled out very little info, made it as boring as possible. Under "you should message me if" I put, "You want to get shot down." And I took an OK pic from hotornot.

It seems like everyone is doing this experiment. I might do this experiment myself. It seems like we all come to the same conclusion that competion is stiff. Women don't have to do much work to get any attention.

Really? Why? After the first one or two guys did it, there was no reason for anyone else to do it. You already know the competition is stiff and you gotta step your game up on all fronts. Spend that time working on your life instead of being a fake female.

It's not really a big deal...this is a one night thing. But it's still amazing to read some of these responses. I'm getting a lot of insight as to what NOT to do.

But it's true- I put up a picture of an OK female, with no ambitions ("i like to party, drink, dance, smoke. uhm.. that's about it"), and look at all these good looking guys responding within minutes of my post.

Where are you located? The tri-state area it worked like a charm.

If you are using "modeling" obviously fake pictures they'll catch on though. You need real looking photos not "posed" for.

Everybody who does online dating should set up some fake accounts, both as men and as women. It's really educational. If you kind of "put yourself in a woman's shoes" and see what kind of interactions that women get on the 'net, it's extremely interesting and will allow you to become better at distinguishing yourself from the crowd.

When you actually do the POF female test, you can't help but be horrified at the disparity in the dating game...a male's profile will get maybe 1 message a month. Online dating is mirrored in reality as well...

This is just curiosity talking, human beings are curious creatures, we must know and have solve the mystery somtimes, it intrigues us. "Natural DJS", if they exist, know this and are mysterious. This site has tought us to use this method sometimes... to grab peoples attention, incorporate mystery. It can be a powerful tool can it not? It doesn't have to be in pickup, sometimes in a interview or a presentation, mystery is a powerful tool sometimes isn't it? But I wouldn't rely on it, if you know what I'm saying. I do know that talking too much can be a DHV. But I am not going to conduct this experiment myself.

I wonder what interresting conclusions we can take from this (making a fake woman profile) experiment , if there are any. But I would suspect so. Comments? Reply to this post. And I wonder if this is worth doing again for yourself, it has been done many times. Seems like a waste of time to me.

I am amazed that you are amazed. Like it is something unusuall that average and ugly girls get so much attention on this "dating sites". They dont get allmost any attention in real life. Dating sites are only for their ego, and when they see good looking guy (10) they jump to grab a chance because that chance they will never have in reality. They dont "waste" time on good and average looking males on dating sites.

I did this on POF and getting women from there was much easier! I tried this experiment with a female and she was a busty Hawaiian porn actress! You can imagine how much messages I got from it. I just watched them pickup lines flow in. This experiment is hilarious and the results are the same all over, Women get too many messages, and guys get too few replies. "10" men get the most messages out of men. For most guys on these sites, the odds are not in their favor. I used a real pic of me and put myself at age 45 to get more cougars and milfs. Photoshopping yourself to get a 6 pack is a big help.
