"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

So our six month anniversary is coming up in about a week...
We talked about it, and she thought of maybe getting a nice hotel in San Francisco, going out for dinner, etc.
I had other ideas in mind, one would be horseback riding, cos she loves ponies and crap like that...
The whole SF thing is pretty expensive too... she has money, but I don't want her spending it. I'd rather use my money, or just some of her's... I dunno yet.

Anyways, any reccomendations on how to celebrate this LTR lasting half a year?
The relationship is going awesome by the way.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Uhh.. 6 month anniversary? Never heard of it. I really don't think something like that should have a special celebration, maybe a whole YEAR, but six months?

Oh well, you seem like you are in a happy relationship and a good couple, so I'll still give my input. I wouldn't go overboard and do something real expensive, mainly because the whole 6 month thing already seems a little over the top to me. I think I'd just step it up a NOTCH of how it usually is when out on a date with this girl, just a notch. Just something a little more romantic than usual. The horseback riding thing seems fine, it's probably inexpensive. It will set a western mood, so than you can start a campfire, eat some baked beans, and sing her songs on your guitar, hahaha.

(It don't really have to be all that, but the horseback riding idea sounds nice.)

Just have fun.

buy a good porn video, some sex toys, lots of lube, and a hotel room.

Sounds like a fun time to me.

an·ni·ver·sa·ry (n-vûrs-r)
n. pl. an·ni·ver·sa·ries
1. The annually recurring date of a past event, especially one of historical, national, or personal importance: a wedding anniversary; the anniversary of the founding of Rome.

You can't have an anniversary until its a year. Its actually a bi-annually celebration now that you or her has created. I hope this is a wakeup call that this is a stupid idea.

You being with her is her present - thats it. Until you are married don't celebrate being together - its really just a dumb idea that serves no purpose.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
