"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

recently my g/f of 2 years moved to ca to finish her senior year there. and about 2 weeks ago she was raped by some guy there. and ever since then its changed her. shes been completely ignoring me on the phone, never calls or anything. i told her i would be there for her and support her and everything and it seems to be driving her away even more and for some strange reason i am now the needy one. it used to be the complete opposite before. i know something really trajic happend to her and i told her if she needs time alone ill just leave her alone untill she recovers. but i dont know i hate being the last priority in anyrelationship.and inside i cant stand beign ignored. after reading all these articles on this site about making myself a "prize" and how she'll compete for me again if theres a challenge with other girls i talk to im wondering if that would even work on her. well ive been doing that and im thinking only 2 things will come out of it. she'll be back on my n*ts or dump me. what do you guys think about all this and what i should do?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

your relationship was over the moment she decided to go away from you to CA.

and it ended the moment she left.

Nah don't listen to this guy. Things are diffrent in a LTR. As long as she knows your their (emotianally) for her, thats all you can do when your so far apart. Something tragic has happend, and yes she may need time to recover. Don't feel bad for yourself, just try and relax and be happy that she will be getting better and better every day. You don't need to excessivly call her, just enought to show you care for her.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I'm with friv. Something isn't quite right here, and I smell bs. There is a good chance she wants to completely cut you off since she doesn't live near you anymore.

Whatever the case, there isn't any point in holding onto her for a LTR regardless of whether she was or wasn't raped. Maintaining a LDR is almost impossible if the two of you aren't seeing each other at all.

WRONG WRONG WRONG..it all depends. Is this girl a AW that would make sense for her to make something like this up? Is she sometime flaky and flirty?

If the answer is no to these, and you truly LOVE her and sure she LVOES you back then a LTR/LDR can definetly work but it will be ALOT harder.

My own inkling is that this is far too big an issue to be dealt with by random guys you know on the internet who may or may not be 'Don Juans', no matter how experienced they are in seducing women. I'd imagine that after 2 years you already know each other far too well to try out quirky seduction tricks on her. If she's been raped, then it will have been seriously psychologically disturbing for her. I'm with locarius - if it's true that she's been raped, then only professional help can do anything for you. If you're not sure that she's been raped, you shouldn't be discussing this on the forum at all.

yeah definatley not flakey or flirty and extremely loyal, i know she wouldnt make something like that up. but it just sucks ass. i cant stand the ignoring thing i dont wanna pester her by calling every day and seem all needy. i guess i just need to relax about it and wait it out.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
