"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Hey all...

Hows life treatin yas?

Things have been going good for me lately...hit a rough spot though.

Got in to a fight with me gf of 1+yr tonight...Things started well for the night, went out had some fun. We get back to her house and im puttin on the charm...things are going great, giggling n kissin n whatnot... and she says shes startin to get cramps (pms = mood about to get cranky). So i told her alright, I had to leave early tonight because of things i had planned for tomorrow morning, and she says, "No, stay." Anyway things start to get into sex, and im puttin the condom on (which she didnt know i had because she had previously searched my pockets as a joke lookin for shyt to steal) and she says "ugh, i never know what you have in your hand, you're so sneaky and i dont know why you bother if its not going to work." (heres the cranky)

btw she means the sex isnt gonna work (gynacological problems that are supposedly going away - nothing to do with infections tho haha)

Anyway i didnt like this to say the least, because parents got divorced because of father havin extra-marital activities..he was SNEAKY...and i hate him for that, and i dont ever want to be called that, i dont want to be like him.

So i say huh?...okay then...and i get dressed and get ready to leave. Going out the door I say, "Arent you going to say goodbye." "I dont know, you're being kind of a ****" she says.

So i tell her, "why am i a ****?" " you're kinda sayin to me, 'Oh we arent gonna have sex, bye." she tells me.

"what am i supposed to do, stay here when you just ruined the mood?. Im not gonna stay here if youre gonna be in a cranky mood. And i dont even care about the not having sex....You're just in a real shyt mood.

"alright, goodnight." I say and leave

That friggin bothered me that she called me sneaky like my dovche father...Hate him for what he did and i dont want to be like him.

It seems kinda trivial that i got mad as im writing this, but it struck a chord and i didnt like it, so i left. Was i wrong to get mad??

We'll see what happens, with calling and what not
Weve been together for a year + so being childish about who calls first being the weaker one shouldnt come in to play.

......I aint callin first haha.

Its late, wanted to post this, get some insight or criticism from everyone.

Much appreciated

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Just PMS. It's nothing. This is the worst argument you've had in a year? Sheesh.

Even though you had plans for the morning the next day, if you were willing to stay for sex, you should be willing to stay a couple minutes and comfort her with her pains, it is kinda rude if you just leave if your not going to have sex, atleast thats what she thinks. Chicks just want to feel comfortable and appreciated. She probably just thinks your interested in her for the sex. Best thing to do is just apologize to her and do something to make it up to her, even if you dont want to, she will see it as a good thing...........assuming you both want to stay together.

Yea i see what you're saying...I basically left in a moment of heat because she offended me with the sneaky comment...I mean i hate my father because he was sneaky around my mother, so to be described that way suggesting to me that im like my father got me angry...However she does not yet know this.

She thinks I left because we didnt have sex, im sure. It'll get cleared up when I call to talk or to make plans to meet up and talk.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I think you both need to work on your communication. Having arguments where you both aren't really arguing about the things you are arguing about is pointless as it can be avoided. If you had told her right there and then that you were hurt about her sneaky comment because of other reasons as opposed to just getting mad because you were hurt, things would have been better. Encouraging her to talk about what is really bothering her is a good thing too.
