Hey gents,

I have recently realised that I am ejaculating lower volume of semen than usual. Will it come back to normal? Do you think I should wait before seeing a doctor? Any thoughts? I have no problem getting hard and staying hard. I am 34.

There are a lot of factors that play into ejaculate volume. If you're concerned about fertility, get a sperm count done.

I think you should do an evaluation of your lifestyle and see if there have been any changes or things out of the norm for you. A few years ago I was working a massive amount, like 10-14 days straight with a physically active job, and I had no sex drive and my ejaculative volume was noticeably much lower than my norm. Now, I'm still working a physically active job but since I am making substantially more money I'm working fewer hours, have fewer late nights and have way better sleep and recovery. These issues are no longer a thing for me lol.

Sum this up, if you are noticing changes in your body like this it's typically due to issues with sleep, hydration, diet, stress or lack of recovery.

Does it matter? Semen volume doesn't correlate with sperm health much does it?

If your orgasms are less intense as well then it's probably lowered libido/test from stress or lack of sleep.

Actually, you might be right. I have noticed this since I have been working out a lot - 1 hour of walk, 45 mins of cardio and 45 mins of weights 5 times a week. That's a lot for me but not sure what others would say haha. I might have to tone down a bit, I reckon. Stress could be another one. Thanks, mate. Will make some changes. Cheers.

There is such a thing as exercising too much and it definitely sounds like you are in that territory. You don't have to exercise as much as you think to be in very good shape btw.

Yeah true, seems like there's no correlation but I was just worried because I was ejaculating pretty decent volume and suddenly this is happening. Need to take care of my stress like you said, mate.

There is such a thing as exercising too much and it definitely sounds like you are in that territory. You don't have to exercise as much as you think to be in very good shape btw.
I get carried away sometimes, especially after gaining 5 kgs after a holiday. Haha.

Semen volume mostly comes from abstinence and intensity of the orgasm. My T is through the roof, so I'm constantly able to let out *** even when Im on a sex streak but people's bodies are different. My first thought is that you're not sustaining from a week or so from sex to reset your body. Are you masturbating?

Yes mate, masturbating at least once every couple of days usually. Would that make any difference? I have tried to google but there's not much about correlation between masturbation and low volume. I can still find some info on masturbation and watery semen though.

Go a week or two without any of that. No sex anything. Reset your body's chemistry.

Take Vitamin D everyh day, Vitamin C, Fish Oil, Zinc Magnesium, B complex or B12/B6/, Selenium, If you really want also take Fenugreek Seeds, --and Ashwagandha, and Niacin (b3).

and eat alot of oysters, sugarcane (its really tasty, you can also get fresh squeezed juice of sugar cane), beetroots

Theres a condiotion out there called retrogade ejaculation.. Basically pushes your semen back into your bladder instead of out your penis. A "Dry Orgasm". Id check with your doctor if your noticing changes with your body

Hey guys, just came back to thank you all for providing such invaluable input. It's back to normal now. Things I did:

1) Stopped overtraining. I was overdoing it to reach my target weight and muscle building goals. Wanted a quick fix, basically.
2) Drank lots of water (not sure if that helped).
3) Maintained abstinence from masturbation and sex for 2 weeks.

That's all I did. Would have gone to the doctor or started the supplements, diets etc like you guys suggested but thankfully did not reach to that point. With stress, I could not do much because as you know it does not go away that quickly.

After not masturbating and not having sex for 2 weeks, voluminous semen flooded out of my diick on the day I had sex. Haha.

You are not in your 20’s anymore.

At 34 years old you need to reduce your frequency of ejaculations. Generally it should be in the area of every 3-6 days. During the summers it is closer to 3, and during winters closer to 6 or more days. And, as you get older the amount of days between ejaculations needs to increase even more.

A 34 year old man should find a woman for sex. No more masturbation if you can help it,
