Gmail is an online service. Google has your password. Go through the "forgotten password" page on G-Mail or something like that.
If you can't recover it that way, then its gone. Google has excellent security provided your password is good and not something like "123456".

Why can't you just go through gmail password recovery and reset the password? They will send a link on how to do it to your secondary email account provided when you created your account.elite7 said:

Do you expect the local pc guy to hack google?
Could it be same password you used for other accounts? Then you can retrieve password from that. Another option is if you used another computer and are signed into google on it. Then you can change your password. Perhaps you are signed into google on your current computer, just not gmail.
