I'm about 40 lb overweight and want to lose the weight without losing too much muscle mass. I can do cardio while reducing how much I eat. The tough part for me is cutting out things like pizza out of my diet. Is it possible to try something like intermittent fasting and cutting calories while still keeping some if the junk?
Ultimately I would rather lose the weight so if I have to cut the junk I will, but if intermittent fasting and caloric deficit is enough please let me know.
