"Be conscientious about how the image you put forth..." This used to go without saying

Yes Looks Maxed all you want....But also remember to Maxed out in something just as important which is - 'Positive, chilled out, Happy Vibe Maxing'....You do this with your lifestyle, hanging around with Positive people who encourages you, Practicing a spiritual faith of some kind to let you have a balance view in life, lifting weights ,listening to positive music, movies and watching what you eat and consume. Loving and accepting your vulnerabilities and bringing that vibe to people around you'.

Agree, it's easy to get caught up in just the appearance side of things, but your mindset and the energy you bring really do make a huge difference. Looks might catch attention, but vibe is what makes it stick. Thanks for the reminder to balance both.

- “We are twice armed if we fight with faith and an attractive appearance, for beauty sways the hearts of men.”
Plato

“It is better to be beautiful than to be good,“
Oscar Wilde

Be as attractive as you can be. It makes all the difference in the world. Looksmax as far as you are comfortable doing.

Case in point: The Men's Rights Movement mimicked the Andrea Dworkin wing of Feminism and The New Left of The 70s more generally, by going out of their way to look, speak, and behave like the antithesis of what anyone with an ounce of sense would want living next door to them

Not surprisingly, they succeeded in attracting no one except a handful of online sh-tlords and White Nationalist knuckleheads, and came nowhere close to winning wide-spread public support

Another way to think about this subject:

What's said here https://www.the-independent.com/art...-t-like-me-and-i-don-t-like-them-8076611.html ("For decades, feminism had rejected Hollywood, sex symbols and fashion magazines and so on. Younger women have no problem in reconciling beauty with ambitions as a professional woman.")is similarly true of "The Men's Movement" of the late 10s-today. Entirely too many of it's rock stars and their parishioners match the stereotypes described here

9:00-the end

5:56-6:40

Same way more than a handful of feminists resembled Andrea Dworkin more than a smidge. This wasn't always the case though... From the mid-90s till about '16 or so, acknowledging the difficulties which disproportionately affect men and discussing practical ways of helping ourselves WERE NOT seen as antithetical to one another https://www.sosuave.net/forum/threads/rhyme-and-unreason.283296/#post-3140692

It was only fairly recently that the MGTOW/Incel worldview("Being Red Pill requires that you walk outside of your front door looking like crap... Glowing/Freshening up = Pandering to The Gynocentric Social Order")became mistaken for an advanced way of being

Yes dude, your presentation is like more than half of the equation. Women have eyes, yes? Of course your looks matter and anything you do to "improve" will help. There is always something that can be improved upon without having to go to extremes.....but sometimes that's necessary (have a friend who bad underbite he got oral surgery in teens, it did help appearance)
