Looking for a good beard trimmer with METAL comb!

It seems that I am forever breaking the comb attachment of my beard trimmer; this piece seems to be invariably be a fragile piece of plastic that breaks upon a drop of any height. :mad::mad::mad: So I am looking for a RUGGED trimmer that can take a drop, which means a nice metal comb. Alternatively, if anyone makes just the comb for a trimmer, that would suffice as well.

I am beginning to think that the trimmer manufacturers have intentionally made this piece fragile so as to get folks to repeatedly buy a replacement. :mad::mad: I guess their old model was to sell the blades for razors, and they figured out that this would be a similar model. :mad::mad:

Have you tried Wahl beard trimmers? Maybe they won’t break on you. Never tried their beard trimmers but if their clippers are any indication they shouldn’t break. They make quality, sturdy stuff
