Long hair?

Don't know if this is a stupid question but...I'm growing my hair long just to see what it looks like. I've had really short hair all my life and I don't feel that comfortable with long hair...however all my female friends say it looks good and better than when my hair is short.

Should I consider this advice (and women's advice on clothes and appearance in general) to be as useless as their romantic advice?

Or is following their advice on fashion for guys a good idea?

Most times, i would recomend taking fashion and hairstyle advice from women.... They really do pay attention to that stuff and know what looks good on a guy.

Just don't wear something you don't like, even if they say it looks great. Find a style that is you, first and formost.

Develop a sense of your own fashion. Girls can help at this, but there's a belief that all girls are automatically good at fashion, one that they gladly propagate. My girlfriend is proof that this is false.

Long hair is like porn star. This is what I think.

there is a trend coming around regarding long hair in men

just look at Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise, Antonio Banderas and Viggo Mortensen

whether this works for you, remains to be seen. hollywood stars could rub **** on their face and they'd still have a line 2 miles long of people willing to sleep with them, so don't take it as gospel.

dude ive got long hair, it looks pretty much like ashton kutchers. Who gives a fuk if long hair looks gay, if thats what suits you, keep it.

I can tell you, i always had long hair since i was about 11 and then the summer before senior year i cut it short, got like a spikyish sort of style. First day of school, everyones like 'damn, you cut your hair, ahhhh!!!11'. 2 girls told me straight out 'it sucks'. Man i remember one girl looking at me like i was some monster going 'you cut your hair?' That day was a nightmare and all i did is cut my damn hair. I obviously then grew my hair back and didnt look back! I dont know why but short hair just doesnt suit me, i look like a whole different guy

basically my point is do what suits you, if long hair is for you, keep it.
