long distance

a 45 minute drive relationship in highschool, cannot work, am i correct, what should i make of this... is there any point at all in following this up?

It just isn't worth it in high school. Unless you are absolutley sure that this person embodies everything you want in a person then you should just try and stay away from LDR's. You're going to meet a lot of girls who will strike your fancy and with a LDR it won't be fair to either of you if you limit yourself to a LDR when you can easily find someone in your school who you can be with. You're young, im assuming she's young. Your best bet is just to stay in contact and later on if its meant to be you guys will hit it up. But at our age, I would stay away from LDR's. Just my two cents.

I went out with this girl who lived about 35 mins away for 7 months and it was worth it.... good expierances might as well give it a shot and if you find its a waste of your gas... then give her the shove...

well i guess with the increasing gas prices and my v8 it wouldnt be worth it...

Good Lord, y'all are shooting this down because of a 45 minute drive? I don't know about you, but I have to drive at least half an hour to get to a lot of friends' houses, and it's the same with girls. I don't see any reason to shoot down a relationship simply because the girl's 45 minutes away. That ain't a weekend-killer; I dated someone who lived 45 minutes from me for four months this year. Went very well.
