I recently became aware of the above and realised that pretty much everything is applied to my partner.

We moved in together just a while ago, reason being I needed to save $. However, her behaviour has starting to annoy the hell out of me, she's constantly looking for attention and creating random drama out of nowhere.
I applied the "silent treatment" to her a few days ago for a full 24 hrs after she behaved inappropriately and that set her off. Since then she hasn't been the same and tries to look for attention elsewhere. The funny part is, when I did use the silent treatment she started flipping after a few hours and craved attention so badly she made up stuff like - "what the hell did you do with the painting", "why the **** did you move my keys".

I realise it was regretful of me to move in with a HPD (I wasn't aware at first), but I needed to save $. I won't dump her because I have 8 months until I finished my college degree and I can't afford messing up my economy.

Even though we live together I usually sit in the working room and we rarely talk to eachother during the day. I only call and text 1-2 times a week. The less attention I give her the more crazy she gets basically. When she tries to create drama I just ignore her.

What is the most successful way of dealing with a HPD to make her more attached to me?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Basically, you're putting money and college before your mental well-being. Good luck with that! How the hell are you not afraid of sleeping in the same place as her? See Jodi Arias case.
