"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

im a little confused with the listening to a girl part...i know to ask open ended questions, focus the convo on her, and DONT try to be her therapist

my question is what to do when you talk to girls who are a little depressed, insecure, or complain...right now weather is constantly raining and cold and wet where i live...so i guess thats a influence.

i didnt try to cheer them up, i just sympathized, but the conversations get nowhere...

any ideas?

You can have a convo with a girl for hours, but if you don't make it sexual, you ain't getting nowhere.

We also need to talk about C&F....

... damn! I don't feel like talking about it right now, but you can do a search, I"m sure you'll find thousands of threads. But there's only one point that i really need to emphasize:

"C&F by itself won't get you laid, it's just a means to keep the convo sexual without becoming akward."

About the depressed, insecure girls that b itch about just anything... why would you want anything with them? Just call up on them when they b itch (wow, you sure like to b itch honey). And if they don't stop just say next.

Take her out into the rain. Go to the park and play tag. Rain is not depressing if you know how to use it and girls like to play in the rain and get muddy too, trust me.

I would let her talk for a few minutes. Then maybe move the conversation into a lighter more fun direction. Do any activity where she must concentrate so that she can't dwell on her issues. Take her to the arcade, ice skating, anything where she can be competitive and get a feeling of accomplishment. Let her know that you care that she's upset but don't let her just sit there and whine. Help her enjoy the day. That way she sees her time with you as positive instead of just another part of a negative day.

These are the women you should be staying away from. They are the ones who are loaded with emotional baggage and will drag you down with them. Look for women who are more upbeat, fun, and positive, and you'll have a much easier time with them.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

It'd make sense to stop the talking, and go on action dates.

But, on experience, it won't work, or it will only to a certain extent. Probably because I don't have the patience to work some maneuvers on her. Just next her.
