"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Good evening gentlemen of S.S.,

I write to you all to express my newfound desire to have goals. And to impress upon you all that one needs goals like one needs two eyes in one's head. Let us call these 'Financial year 2012-13 Goals'. Why not have new goals half-way through the year? That way you will not feel the pressure of all your friends giving up on theirs in February

Let us 'get the ball rolling', as it were. Mine are:

1. Spin an average of two plates (FwB's) from Sep12-Jun 01, 2013.
2. Put on 20lb muscle. Sod it. Make that 30lb.
3. Continue learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (my knees aren't calloused yet!) :box:
4. Get a 'Distinction' average at university (on track this semester :D)
5. Get shredded as FUARK, brah (clean bulking) i.e. 12% body fat.

I know not why I have chosen such a lofty tone for this thread.

Faithfully yours,

Black.Magic

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Great idea Black.Magic.

1. Progress my career to the next level (promotion or another job!) and start enjoying my job more
2. Take the breakdancing to the next level (powermoves, complex/original footwork combos, battling)
3. Continue to become stronger, tougher, leaner and more agile (and shredded as FUARK, brah :D )
4. Spend more time with family, especially my grandparents
5. Make some more male friends (got plenty of females ones but some more bros would be great)

Oh yeah and be more like SPARTACUS haha :box: that dude never quits and he's gutsy as hell.
