I haven't posted here in a while, but as usual things are not good and it's time to make a change. This is my current situation:

I have been seeing 3 girls during the past 6-8 months or so, they know that they are not exclusive but 2 have fallen for me and I have to stop seeing them.

I am working 24/7, growing old and neglecting my true passions. This has to stop!

I know that everytime i post in this forum things start changing and that's why I am posting today, here are my goals for the next week:

1. To start interacting with girls, and with people in general
2. To start following my passions and bring some meaning into my life
3. To work less
4. To stop seeing the current 3 girls

I really believe that we need to enjoy everyday on this planet regardless of our age, and as we get older the days go by faster and we have to enjoy life before it passes us by.

Will keep you posted.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

the more importance yo put on something the harder it will be. The more you attach negative consequences to what it is you want to change, the harder you'll find it is to change.

Start by changing your thoughts and beliefs about the situation, and you'll find that it's so much easier to do.

A word of advice: don't be reactive, be proactive.

Instead of "reacting" to your current situation, and taking steps from that vantage point, consider a goal or a future situation and make decisions from THAT vantage point.

If you have a goal, your choices will lead you to that goal. If you make changes just for the sake of change, or reacting to present situations, then you won't get anywhere: you'll find yourself going in circles.

This list is vague, and based on the current situation you are in.

#2 and #3 should be at the top of the list, #1 should be at the bottom of the list, and #4 would happen automatically if you actually accomplish #1.

It's good to be motivated, but without direction, efforts are wasted.

If you set a goal, you might find that you want to work MORE in order to work LESS in the future. Your goal might include your passions, or be set to accommodate or facilitate your passions, so that might happen automatically as a result of striving to meet, or having met your goal.

So I say be "proactive" in your changes with an eye toward the future instead of the present.

Good luck.
