"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

ok, just to get staright to the point-my life with women is totally fine, I have no problems with girls whatsoever but.....theres more to life than jut that

question is what do you do?

look, Im 19 going on 20 and Im studying Business at school and hate it, I much rather do Psychology but it seems like one of those majors that you'll go back to shcool to study something else and it seems impossible to get a good job without good education

so what do you guys do? school? work a ****ty job? stock market? banker? FOREX? or do you not even think about tommorow and live for the day?

what are your guys' ways to make it in life?

I know a lot of us are in this bullsh!t stage in life where we're trying to figure out what to do so lets do it together

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

If you're going to school and don't like what you're taking... STOP. Go travelling. Get a job bartending in Australia. Join the Peace Corps. Join the army!

If you want to go to school but just don't know what you want to take, grab the school calendar and find classes that look interesting. Take them. I don't care if you end up with one philosophy, one business, one French, one biology and one film studies. It's the only way you'll find out what you're interested in.

The key here is: what's the rush? I know that the dominant message on this board is to get your sh*t together as early as you can financially... screw that. If your brain is all messed up by working at a job you don't like when you're 25 you're going to be in trouble when you're 35.

Trust me, I'm 32.

place to place.
this to me was almost as vital as figuring out womens advice is pretty much useless and never gets you a girlfriend or laid. it's shocking but don't listen to your parents advice. it's outdated material. what worked for them 20 to 30 years ago doesn't really work now, unless they changed with the times which is very rare. when your dad calls you dude, well...nice try dad but that was so 80's.

i love my parents and yes they only want whats best for you. but they also want whats best for them. like bragging rights, that you completed university that'll make them proud. or your working here or there.

everytime i listened to my parents i ended up doing something that wasn't for me and i hated it. when i didn't listen to anyones advice and followed my own vices man those were some of the greatest moments of being alive.

some people have a hard time figuring out what they are put here on this earth to do. give it some time and don't rush into things. it will reveal itself.

women are just a bonus in this great journey through life. if you enjoy what your doing it won't be hard attracting the greatest woman you will ever meet.

life is meant to be enjoyed and people forget that. go have a riot at whatever makes you happy

plastic surgeon gets his kicks from people thanking him. i get my kicks from my woman rolling over and thanking me for a wild romp in the hay.

escobar, they say its better to have a job you enjoy that doesn't pay well then one you hate that pays great.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
