"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I've been with my gf now for about 8 months or so. We get along well and things had been going fine. Then about 3 or 4 months back, we were chatting one night about a guy she had been dating just before me.

I wouldn't normally ask about somethign like this because I know that kind of sh*t will bother me, but it just kind of came up. She was very vague about it and gave me a few details and that was ok by me. It had been over a few months before we me...that's what she told me since she knew I would never date someone just coming out of a relationship...even if she was the one who ended it.

Anyway, the details she had given me, made me curious about a few things(again some things that if I would've known earlier, I might not have dated her). The conversation always stayed in the back of my mind and would always come back to bother me. I didn't really want to bring it up to her again, because I felt that it was MY issue. Anyway, it did come up some more times over the past 2-3 months and each time the new details she gave me didn't really match with the old stuff. So things continued to stick in my mind and I was really frustrated because I wanted to just get over it and move on further into our relationship because everything else was good.

So flash forward to this past weekend. Things came up for the last time and I explained to her why things had been bothering me. So this time she gave me the true information and then when I asked her a few questions it tripped her up and I discovered that she had lied about a few of the major details like how long it had been since she broke up with him before she met me. I found out that it had only been like a week...and not 2 months like she had lied about over and over.

She told me that she really loved me (more than anyone else in her past)and knew that I wouldn't have dated her if I had known the details earlier on. So she continued to hide things and lie about it until I tripped her up and this late stage in the game.

Anyway, I forgave her for lying. BUt what should I do about it? After our talk she was in tears and felt really bad. I didn't get mad at her, just she realized it wasn't good.

I know that i definetely would have nexted her if I knew this info awhile back...but what should I do about it now? Should I let her off the hook completely and treat her like it never happened when she calls me(she just did but I was on the other line)? Or should I next her or put her on probation? Let me know what you would do. Thanks.

M.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Maybe we're just different, but I don't see this as a huge deal, as long as everything else is going fine.

To me there are red flags and yellow flags (like soccer). This incident has shown you that she can resort to lying in order to get her way. Be careful, keep your eyes open.

I'd book her with a warning and show her the yellow.

What you do from here is your call. I'm not so sure that is grounds for breaking up, but whatever youdecide you were right questioning her honesty. A relationship is nothing but a lie if that is what its built on. No house can stand without a solid foundation. If you do decide to stick around let this chick know you will not tolerate dishonesty in any fashion, shape, or form. If lying becomes a habit for her ...NEXT..!!!!! (After all who wants to date a LIAR?)

Be cool, man. Good luck.
