"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Before I started going out with my gf, I had lied about my age (being a year older than I really was)...I was actually 17, but I said I'm 18, turning 19. She was 19 turning 20.

I figured nothing would really materialize anyway. But now that my b-day is fast approaching, she still thinks I am a year older than I am. There are many instances where age comes up in convo, and I have to play it cool like I really am older.

So anyway, I'm caught in a minor dilemna...should I eventually tell her? Or should I just continue playing it cool?

you can just out right tell her like you don't care and that is doesn't matter.

say, "guess what? yeah... I bull****ed you about my age. I'm really only 18. yeah.. I didn't think you were worth much of anything then, but I guess I was wong. "

Minor dilemma? Dude, this is a MAJOR dilemma. You lied. When she finds out that you lied about this she's going to wonder what else you've lied about. Never lie...

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

lying about your age is bad!

however , if you speak up now you might can salvage something.

what you need to say is, " i lied about my age because i felt that you would not give me the chance if i told you the truth. i hope that you can forgive me for this , but my intentions were good.
and now that you know me for who i am, even with my age, do you think that you would want to give me a chance"?

this should clear things up and she may act a little upset for a day or two, but be persistant... she will still be your girl.

if you call her and she tries to say , you are too young for me or something... say," you know you had a blast with me the other day. but whatever if thats the way you feel i will leave you alone ."

she will think about it and then call you right back.

She already considers me to be young..usually she goes for older guys.

The problem is that if I told her, she would start thinking that I've been lieing about stuff all along, which isn't good.

At the same time, continuing to play that I'm older is producing more and more sub-lies, thus deepening it.

Are you spending the day with her on your bday?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
