So he has wounds on face from the fight, decides to call police, but doesnt have any proof.

Does that mean nothing happens to you and you are let free?

Or he can call friend and use him as "fake witness" that would claim he saw me attacking him (even tho in reality he wasnt there) - how likely is this?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

It depends on what state or country you are in and how aggressive the local District Attorney is. Its an impossible question to answer.

When it comes to the legal system, you roll your dice and you take your chances.
They might come up justice, they might not.
I guess in this case, you're hoping for "not".

depends on if the police can find any evidence around and what your criminal record is.

if the cops have no particular reason to hunt you down, and they can't find any eyewitnesses or proof that you did anything at all (security cameras, DNA, etc.) then you're most likely safe.

Or he can call friend and use him as "fake witness" that would claim he saw me attacking him (even tho in reality he wasnt there) - how likely is this?
you mean perjury? the felony?

Depends how serious the wounds are, they could swab for DNA. They could turn up at your house and see bruising on your knuckles or scratches/marks of an altercation.

Could be another witness you didn't see there, could be CCTV you don't know about. I would say you had a fair one on one and he came off worse. I wouldn't deny the fight happened because of the above, once you get caught lying it's a back peddle situation which never looks good.

Need more details to make a fair assessment.

I imagine even if they get proof you had a fight, if you claim self defence and there is no video or witness evidence, it would be very difficult to prove what happened.
