2 votes for the Pats, haha I can see A-Unit has been here already.

GO COLTS GO

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

First the Chicago/Carolina game...this will be a very close game. Both defenses are good, however, Bears have the better match up when it comes to defense. On the offense side, Carolina, of course has the better offense. If Carolina wants to win this game the O-Line has to give Jake enough time to throw deep. That's right two words...STEVE SMITH. Carolina cannot throw over the middle or short because the Bears linebackers will eat them for lunch. This is also the only way Carolina will get a running game going. Because if they just try to run the ball Chicago is just going to stack the line and man handle them.

Ok, now looking at Chicago..for them to win this game they are going to have to take RISK. What I mean by risk is.... SINGLE COVERAGE on Steve Smith. If I was Lovie (which Im not but that name is freakin cool!) I would have Nathan Vasher on Steve Smith the WHOLE game. Do this and you can rush harder to get to Jake. If they can do this it won't give Jake enough time to find Steve Smith. Oh and some of you guys are forgetting who the Bears have now...MUSHIN(sp) MUHAMMAD. He was an ex-panther. This guy has great speed and great hands just like Steve Smith. Again...O-line for Bears is going to be importaint. Instead of going deep, I would throw fast slants. 5-7 yarder ones. Hand off...hand off... oh and hand off some more. Aslong as Bears don't stick their foot in their mouth and go for big plays down the field every down they will be ok, because they are masters at field positoning. Close game....however..Bears win 9-7

Colts/Steelers

I really don't see this game being close. Look for Marvin Harrison to have a big game with deep balls. Look for Dallas Clark to have a heavy impact with short throws near the hash marks. Edgerin James will NOT get a 100-yards in this game. He will be effective but only on 3rd and short situations. Oh and with every team Manning plays look for him to make audibles, after audibles and getting inside of the Steelers Defenses head. Steelers will play D but nothing like they usually do.

On the Steeler side of the ball PROTECT BIG BEN. Dwight Freeney is going to be coming constantly like he always does. The Colts defense is super fast. If Im Bill Cower I run the ball heavy with The Bus for the full first half (with of course bringing in a back up lol) Start of the third I would run Willie Parker. Not to mention BEN has got to find Hines Ward down the field, sadly I have a feeling he's going to be double covered most of the game. Randel El needs to break some tackles on the return kicks, etc. Steelers need great field position if they have to punt they need to be atleast on their 45 yard line each time, none of the "own 20" stuff. Sadly...theres no way Steelers win this game. I repeat....NO WAY.....give them much of a pep talk as you want. The TRUTH is the TRUTH. Colts win 28-14

Broncs/ Pats

This will be a bad a** game ladies and gentleman. Look for some bones to be broken in this one...we'll start off with the defending super bowl champs...

Pats of course have Tom Brady (who I hate but give credit) Tom is a great quarter back. I see in this game Tom making a lot of check down throws. Don't be suprise to see some throws go to o-line men, etc. Bellicheck likes to do some pretty tricky stuff. FOr them to beat the Broncos though rhey mainly have to worry about the linemen and the linebackers. The Broncs secondary is good but doesnt do the linebacking core justice. Pats need to air it up all game long. Nothing over the middle...down the field of to the sides one. I would also give a heavy dose of Corey Dillion. However, like I said before the team rides on Tom Brady so expect to see a lot of passing.

For the broncos to win they need to play mistake free football...what I mean by this is..."Jake don't throw dumba** passes." If Broncs are paitent they can win this game. Of course Jake is going to have to pass some. The fav. target has to be Rod Smith, he's a vetern and he has really good hands. However, Denvers bread and butter is the running game. Hell...I could rush for a thousand yards if I was in the NFL and playing for them...even though im only 5'7 and 160lbs....sniffle sniffle( THE TRUTH HURTS INSIDIOUS) Anyways, look for a couple big run plays from the Broncs matched with some precision throws by Jake Plummer. I would also look for atleast one interception from the Broncs defense. Probably one of the linebackers. Speaking of the linebacking core look for Al Wilson and Ian Gold to have big games as well. Broncs win 24-17.

Seahawks/Skins

As a friend of mine from Washington would say...."Seahawks are going to win because of that hot a** quarterback they have."

Me: Don't you think Shuan Alexander will have a big game...?

Her: Who is that...?

Me: The running back that won MVP this season......

Her: Oh, no, he isn't hot!

Shows what Seahawk fans know, buhahahaha. Don't get me wrong I like Seahawks but Skins defense is going to win this game. Skins win 21-10 (I cut this prediction short because im pretty tired of writing...this is a really long post but I'm a hardcore football fan so when I seen an oppurtunity I had to take it. And usually theres noone around me where I live that talks much football or knows who the teams are. They usually just come to the super bowl parties or play off parties to get drunk. :p

It is pretty much over for the Pats. Brady, as well as the rest of the team crumbled under the pressure.

You were pretty accurate with your final score guess two. What happened to your skins pick though? The final score was almost completely reversed from what you said. Ah well no bet's a safe one I suppose. Still I won 275 bucks betting on the favoirtes in both games soooo the real winner for today is me and my room mates, cause the MHL Light is on me tonight.

Yeah, the skins game through me for a loop....luckily I had no money to gamble :p I was real happy with my prediction on the Broncs/Pats game of course. I'm almost wanting to change my mind about the Chicago game but I'm sticking with Chicago. I like them and the Broncs...I'm hoping atleast one makes it to the SuperBowl. :)

I think there was some people saying something like that about the PATS..."Brady is 10-0 in play offs, nuff said." Oh ye of little faith ;)

Oh and your counting your eggs before they hatch. I also have Colts over Steelers but you never know...anything can happen.

If Colts do win and Broncs play them it will be a very interesting game. That punt block defense may look easy to block but if Brian Bellicheck can't do anything about it then I think it will have some success with Manning. Oh...I gotta be careful..can't go into my "keys to the game" for next week:p

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
