What are the best forms, brands, and is there anything i should look out for like synthetic/non-synthetic etc?

Glutamine is crap.

I have used it. It had no benefits. I kept using it, then I found studies that reported that glutamine has no effect on muscle gain or recovery times whatsoever.

So I stopped using it. I got about a pound left.

Want it? Good price.....

Anybody ever used it. I remember reading about it, something about aids in fat loss. Wondering if it was pointless.

It's not for muscle gain, it's for decreasing the recovery time from stressful workouts. Your muscle pain is less, you can work out more. That's how you gain (if you want to).
