Unless the person is bleeding profusely from the mouth, than no.... There isn't enough of a blood transfer for kissing to transmit the disease. If so then other things like sneezing could make the disease airbourne.

I hear that salivia will actual break down and kill the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) on contact, so I'm not sure if it could actually survive even in the mouth of an infected person. But if they are bleeding, then I'm sure that you could get it. Best not to take a risk... ask for her AIDS test results and have yours ready as well.

AIDS/HIV is contracted thru blood, semen, or vaginal secretions via some opening which leads into the bloodstream. The same way hepitis B is contracted--both diseases are bloodborne pathogens. I've never heard of anyone contracting AIDS thru kissing.
