Kinda funny story

So today Im sitting in this restaurant with my friend. Our waitress wasn't hot btw. Anyways fast forward to the end where Im given my id and credit card for paying for the bill-our waitress comes back and was like" have you seen the girl wearing black(another waitress there)"she says you're cute. I was like was that for me( to make sure it was for me and not my friend) and she said yes. So me n my friend kinda laughed as the waitress walked away. I wrote my name and number down on the slip w/ a smiley face. lol
So were outside walking towards our truck when our waitress calls to us out the door-shes like"She says she'll call you."
Well Lil background on me-Im in the military and Im only here in my hometown for a week before I have to go back to Texas so I was just having fun with it keeping in mind that thered be no point in going out with this girl. Anyways a few mins later I get a call-it said Private. I didnt bother answering it. I doubt she'll call again-she prolly feels awkward about things, and shes prolly a lil insecure seeing as she didnt come up to me herself. Btw from what I could see(she wasnt out waitress) the girl was pretty hot.

You don't just give a girl your number... that's uber-lame... especially a waitress that priobly gets hit on 30 times a night.

That's a pretty rare occurence. Most girls won't do that. At least, I've never had it happen to me.

I didnt hit on the girl-she told our waitress to tell me I was cute. Idk if she was just too busy working to do it herself or insecure. I didnt get a chance to talk to her as she was working, anyways I was really just having fun with it as I know nothing can happen-I leave here on wednesday. But this was def a good confidence booster since I know most of the time girls wont make a move or put themselves out there like that.
