"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Haha Im in a funny mood, this girl who was very distant at a party the other night has just messaged me saying shes:
"sorry I never got to say bye properly hope you have a good summer break and good luck looking for a grad job. No doubt I will see you on myspace blah blah Speak soon "girl" X"

Now I was slightly baffled when she was distant at the party, we have been seeing each other for a short time. I just left her alone and made my own fun, flirted with a few girls and danced hard.
This girl is going on a long haul holiday to spain so I was going to txt back,

"Dont worry about it, you too. Oh enjoy the paella! Adios"

Is this a good reply? I read What to do if she breaks up with you...(winning her back) donpepot's post. Be polite and indifferent etc...

Should I be more polite- she was distant to me at the party. I've done nothing wrong. So no. But could I say anything "killer" to comeback with?:box:

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Anything killer you could of said would not matter once she steps on that plane.

ONLY her attraction for you will bring her back to you, NOT some cheap smartass sentence. Now, since she seemed kind of "distant" that night, it would be easy to say that her attraction level is not very high, and you did nothing to bring it up.

Now, while she's gone, practice on other girls. Make one or two fall in love with you, whatever you want.

When she comes back, then you can try to ATTRACT her again.

thanks Doc.

It seems she could have been trying to break my Don Juan.

As you say I did nothing to raise her interest levels, I was wearing a tux and had a haircut. Looking better than usual so I think she may be a "__someone who wants to turn guys into AFCs___"

She said something which I did not hear but the sentence ended with "so Ill see you later" so I walked away no questions and smiled.

Do you think a quick polite reply is of the order?

Would it be better to not txt back?

thanks
