"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Okay so that oneitis feeling is fading away, your mind is coming to ground level and then suddenly like a ton of bricks WAM! your oneitis comes back into the picture and starts talking to you again. Has anyone had this happen? I f-closed this chick gave me the LJBF with some slight resistance said okay and was on my way. I agreed that we shouldn't hook up anymore and she got a little pissy with me (haha)
Stopped using AIM for a few weeks but recently I've been using it again. She instant messages me everyday to see what I've been up to. I think it's kind of funny how girls especially ones that know you like them try to keep you in the picture slightly.
Whenever I talk to her I keep it short and act completely indifferent and she keeps coming back for more everyday. It's not even like i'm supplicating or anything. If I see her out and I don't say hey to her i'll hear about it on AIM the next day guaranteed. If i blocked her i definitely see her as the type to hunt me down after a couple weeks/months of know contact. I'm doing my best to get this girl out of my head but just when you think they're gone they always pop back into the picture. In no way am i trying to get back with this girl because i know trying to get back together with a oneitis is futile. If it happened to happen then so be it, but i'm not trying. Maybe this chick is just an internet attention wh0re LOL.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Girls don't like to lose.

You caused her to lose. Her winning is to have a friendship with you. Do you want to lose to her?

Drop her if you don't want to lose, because she's winning right now in being friends with you, even if you think nothing will happen.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
