"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

It's been a while but its good to be back.

I seem to have a talent for attracting women and 'doing the right thing' (i.e. using my DJ skills and mindset) to increase a woman's attraction over a short period of time.

Now nothing is wrong with that and my game is down pretty tight in that aspect.

I have a question though which goes against what I'm used to and would be intersted in hearing your opinions.

Before I explain keep in mind that this is not oneitis and I am making sure i have other prospects while working on this girl.

She is a cautious and a sincerely religious type (not the issue here) who is showing definite signs of interest but has made it clear (in general conversations with groups of people) that she does not get involved with any guy in any way until she has known them for at least 6 months - give or take a little.

I am open to the possibility of a steady relationship with her and want to work her over this period to keep this possibility open.

My question is:

How do I keep the interest level up over a long period such as 6 months before I can properly use my DJ skills like I otherwise would? (properly as in not how I act but being able to take it to the next level relationship-wise and physically).

How would my normal DJ skills for short term encounters differ when trying to apply them long term?

Look forward to hearing your opinions and comments.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I know that there are still some genuine DJs who can give decent replies, opinions and advice on this board (at least I hope so), so I'll bump one last time.

A penny for your thoughts.

Let me help you out

1. There is no such thing as "The relationship". It is a female concept only.

2. Therefore, there is no such thing as "The next level"

3. Therefore, there is no need to worry about keeping a womans interest level high. Let her worry about your interest level.

4. The only "Next Level" is a "Next"

5. If her interest level drops then you "Next"

You don't have time to worry about a womans interest level. You are busy man with many goals that you need to acomplish. If a woman wants to be part of your success then she had best keep you interested or your eyes might just wander over to some other hot girls nice fine ass.

The trick to a successful long relationship is keeping parts of yourself a mystery. Keep showing her that theres more to you than she thought, but only bits at a time.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

And good replies they were.

Thank you.

00Kevin - although I disagree with you on the concept of a relationship your other points are spot on.

splinterkb - so true, I also think this, but it is always good to have it reaffirmed.

I'll take these points into consideration and also continue doing the standard things e.g. being the catch, not always available, overt qualifying and not taking her word on it but see how she responds with actions when I do these things.
