There is a transitional period where you do feel bad shifting to a 'fat burning' metabolism. It can be rough but tough it out as it pays dividends. The period may last from a few days to several weeks, which is another reason why I advise no carbs at all for 2 weeks at least, the transition is rougher but it takes less time. If you include post-workout carbs and carb days then the transition takes longer (and fat burning is compromised significantly). If you feel bad, eat some more. It's important to get sufficient calories during the phase and it's very unlikely you'll gain fat doing so.
By the way, tomorrow I want you to log your journal as such:
Meal 1/Breakfast - 4 eggs, 2 sausage patties
Meal 2 (snack) - celery w/ peanut butter
Meal 3 (lunch) - pork chop, spinach, salad
etc.
It's easier to troubleshoot diet that way.
