Alright, here's one of the things I like to do. I buy guitars that I think are worthy of having and I hot rod then with better, more professional components. I've always wanted a bad ass Explorer, but I didn't know if they radical shape would be uncomfortable or not. So I bought a $400 one, it arrived, and it felt great when I tried it. Onto the lab, where I performed surgery on it and gave it active pickups, cooler knobs, a better switch, a metal jack plate, routed it for a 9V battery, painted it here, painted it there in flat black to match, and voila. A custom explorer:

It doesn't look this clean and pristine anymore because I play/record with it whenever I get the chance. The recording music is yet another occupation I enjoy doing. More on that later.

Well other than constant work on that software project I mentioned on the last page, today I replaced the lock on the front door to my house. A key had broken inside the lock, so it obviously needed to be replaced. A little trickier than I imagined but not so hard. Had fun fixing something with my own two hands.
