“The 22 Rules That Turned Me From Invisible to Irresistible With Women… Starting Tonight”

You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.

These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.

Very good idea, Atom Smasher. I will have to ask a friend who has more tools, see if he has any ideas. I also know he is working on his house. If I don't come up with something to make for myself, maybe helping him with doors and the outer walls could count?

(On another note, while I'm talking to a mod for once: Is it possible to make a subforum for field reports? As it is, those threads disappear quickly in the traffic jam that is Don Juan Discussion. I know I would be more inclined to take the time to write field reports if I knew the thread would stick around, and I think others would do the same. I think field reports are more valuable reads than many other tips, as they put things in perspective. They show the theory in practice. So I think they are valuable enough to have their own forum.)
Thanks, I'll check those sites out.

I'll put in a request for a FR sub. I think it's a great idea. The idea has been floated before, but I think it might be time for it in order to separate FRs from the usual daily noise. I'll let you know what the answer is.

By all means, quantify the walls, doors, etc. and maybe make a goal about when they will be completed.

Changed "guild" to "club". I'm not familiar with WoW but I'd rather not have the geek association.

well I can say some games use guilds as clubs too :) pretty much a guild is people banding together for a common goal, or can also be about a craft, a carpenter guild or a merchant guild, guilds was more used in a old time, RPG games use more guild to define a band of people most because a lot of Rpgs use the dark ages settings.

PS. I found this on wikipedia who explain better then me :)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guild

hopes it helps a little :) but either is fine

I'm in but one question: do projects you've already started on count for this week's project? I've got one I've been working on for months now but it still isn't finished because of how much left there is to do.

And JohnChops you know the word guild has been around much longer than WoW has, but that's exactly what I was thinking too haha.
I know i was just busting Atoms balls man!

Bump.

Tomorrow (Saturday) we will declare our projects and make our goals for the week.

I encourage every man here to join. I guarantee that participation will measurably increase the quality of your life. To build and create is to be an authentic man who knows how to deal with and manipulate his environment for his own purposes. What we learn by building will trickle down to all other aspects of life and character.

Oh, one other thing...Anyone who doesn't join will be banned. ;)

I'll move this thread to AE tomorrow. In the meantime, think of some kind of project to build. It absolutely does not have to be anything big at all. Like I said before, if all you have is glue and toothpicks, that's a great start.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Who's in?

Ok, who's in?

I'll be working on my fairground organ. A couple years ago I bought plans for an old-school construction of a band organ, a smaller version of the kind of organ you would find in the middle of a carousel. It uses a punched paper roll to play music by blowing air through holes in the paper as the paper is unrolled and pulled over a draw bar. The air is generated old-school style by bellows that I will have to build.

I'll be starting that today and updating during the week.

Who else is in?

Well I'll be fixing (again) my laptop to get it working. Yesterday was replacing the motherboard and upgrading parts, today is figuring out what's wrong with it now and getting it to work again.

Goal for the week: getting this POS to work...
I really wish I had the money for a new computer... :/

The chicken coupe is out for now, that'll be done on a later date. I've got a bird house kit that's been sitting around in the garage. Think I'll finally put that together.

I'm going to create a painting.

I'll also make the frame and stretch the canvas myself.

Hey guys I'll join the next round of projects. Sounds like a cool idea. I'm going on holiday next week and then moving back up to university. The four weeks for this round of projects should coincide nicely with that! I'll have a think of something I can do!

Guess I'll be the first to post his progress for the week. And I guess also, his project: Immediately after fixing and upgrading my computer, I returned to work on my real project. But I guess, fixing something physical (or building it) was more of Atom Smasher's idea of doing something with your hands more so than developing software. Either way it felt good using tools and repairing something with my own hands.

Anyway, since last week my software project has slowly been coming to an end. Nearly done with everything I put on my checklist that I am capable of finishing with my current level of experience with software development - 4 (soon to be 5) years.

So, I guess my goals for the week are to finish actual development of it. After, I'll start testing, make adjustments where its needed, and hopefully in September release it. I'm a little disappointed I didn't get to accomplish my original goal of releasing it before school starts back up next week, but oh well. How's everyone else's projects going along?

Good Idea, bad execution.

If you are thinking about working with power tools, go work on a construction site first or take an entry level course in carpentry. It's way too easy to cut off a finger or thumb on a saw or have an accident.

I've got one project going, a business book.

My ongoing project will be to acquire a 1999 BMW 323I and learn about all the aspect of cars so I can perform all my own repairs. The car should be coming within the next month or so.

I still need a handyman project. Any ideas are welcome.

Rex won't be building anything because he's far from handy, but he strongly supports the idea and motivation behind this thread. I sincerely hope this thread gets wide and participation and this thread does numbers. Props to A.S. for the idea.

Yeah, I'll put some stuff up, sure. It should be cool and inspirational for others to start. Starting, it seems, is the most difficult part.

You might want to consider trying something. After all, something prompted you to reply here. Maybe there's a latent builder in you trying to climb out.

Even the tiniest project, maybe a kit from the crafts store, a model, whatever, can be very gratifying.

im thinking of making a home made barbell set, with a bamboo and two water tanks or beer jugs....

the water tanks are the ones that you use in the office , for a water cooler.you know the blue plastic ones, its like a gallon each.

my problem is that the jug has a hole on top of it which usually fits into the cooler. i have to find a way to close that off, otherwise the water will come out when im lifting it.

Update:

I've been restoring an amusement park ride circa 1920 that I'll be using as furniture, but I can't describe it any more than that as I risk being identified. It's an extremely rare piece.

Today I'll be removing rust from the lap bar, priming & painting it.
