This thread should be closed or sent to anything else, it started out as a bad pick up tip, and has degenerated into a political debate.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
but the choice is between the lying dummie and the liar who will soon become another puppet of the oil companies.Originally posted by TooColdUlrick
BTW, i belong to no political party. this election is the same as the 00 election. your choice is between the Liar or the Dummy, i think y'all would agree?
personally, i'll take the dummy, because he can surround himself with smart people, as Bush HAS done, without question. i mean, we've got Darth Vader as VP.![]()
If it walks like a Duck, Quacks like a Duck and looks like a Duck, I think I'll call it a Duck. You Quack like a Republican. Your Pro- Bush/ Pro WAR spin would make ANN Coulter and Pat Buchanon DIZZY!!!Originally posted by TooColdUlrick

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
that's just as big a generalisation as saying that all repubs are filthy rich egoistical bastards, only worded nicerOriginally posted by TooColdUlrick
on the fiscal side, i am to the right of Attilla the Hun. i do not believe that the government can spend my hard earned money better than i can, but for only a few things, like national defense. that is the principle philosophy of democrats--we will spend your money for you because you are too stupid to do it for yourself. don't you find this insulting?
it's cradle to grave dependency. the Fed govt is the pimp and a good portion of liberals, who are getting a free ride, are the ho's. no wonder extreme liberals have such an extreme hatred for repubs. they don't want their free stuff to be taken away from them!
I had to reread my post because Im still trying understand why you started lecturing me about government solving problems. I don't see anywhere in my post where I stated directly or indirectly that government as husband, father, sister, brother, big brother or mother is something in which I belive. I spoke about Bush, priviledge, cowboys, Iraqi and American lives being wasted, and Bush's lies. Im confused by your response because it addresses nothing that I stated.Originally posted by TooColdUlrick
princelydeeds, you need to read my earlier post in this thread on who runs this country. i am aware of all sides of the issues, it's my job, i'm a professional economist. you must understand something, the government does not solve problems. it creates problems. the evidence is absolutely overwhelming. name me one, JUST ONE, significant federal government program that has not been boofed up?

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

What the hell does a Syrian have to say about our election. You don't know ****.

Did you think that little gem up all by yourself or did you get some help?Originally posted by Ricky

And most Democrats are girly men. My ex gf is so liberal and the only guys that vote for the Democrats are gay.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
